Worship Times

SUNDAY | HOLY EUCHARIST @ 8:30am

Our vision for worship is to have a Christ-centered, Holy Spirit-led, sacramental service, distinctively Anglican in style, rich in liturgy, preaching, aesthetics and music and characterized by a sense of mystery, contemplation and majesty to the glory of God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

This SERVICE follows the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) and has a combination of traditional and contemporary music. There is NURSERY CARE for infants to 3 years and a Sunday School. Children and youth are dismissed part way through the liturgy for CHRISTIAN EDUCATION and return for communion. Newcomers are welcome to accompany their children to their groups until they become comfortable. Prayer ministry is available during communion and after the service. Join us for coffee after the service.

Set our hearts on fire with love of You, O Christ, our God; that in the flame we may love You with all our hearts, with all our minds, with all our soul, and with all our strength; and our neighbours as ourselves, so that keeping Your commandments we may glorify You, the giver of all good gifts. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. (an Eastern Orthodox Prayer)

WEDNESDAY | HOLY COMMUNION @ 10am

This brief service is from the Book of Common Prayer. There is no music, but there is and a short homily.

Look upon us, O Lord,
and let all the darkness of our souls
vanish before the beams of thy brightness.
Fill us with holy love,
and open to us the treasures of thy wisdom.
All our desire is known unto thee,
therefore perfect what thou hast begun,
and what thy Spirit has awakened us to ask in prayer.
We seek thy face,
turn thy face unto us and show us thy glory.
Then shall our longing be satisfied,
and our peace shall be perfect.
(Augustine, 354 – 430)
